Mr_Mole

One of Amanda Lear's best albums. In this Italian-language album recorded with Italian songwriters, she puts aside disco music and instead concentrates on a mix of cabaret style with chanson with clever lyrics psychological lyrics and nocturnal musical arrangements played on accordeon and moog synth sounds. All the songs in the album are in a way related in mood creating an almost conceptual album.

Not Amanda Lear's most inspired moment on record ... an album of Italian chansons, none of them particularly memorable. Half of the tracks were re-recorded in French the following year and released as Amanda Lear - Tant Qu'il Y Aura Des Hommes. While this original Italian LP is quite scarce to find, the songs have since been re-released countless times on various budget label-compilations.
