The magic of this LP is very enjoyable and worth the listening time. Inside are tracks that really embark on a style of soul that is long forgotten. This is a refreshing look back to the day when some soulful words and harmonies could really make you warm. The original duet with former female member Francine Barker really makes me forget those “Dirty Dancing” movie moments. The unique combination of producers and the early Date label material makes this LP a cherished 1960’s occasion. I’m rather fond of “Love Is Strange” and “We've Got To Love One Another”. It’s the track “Let's Fall In Love” produced by Van McCoy that also helps me forget the Hustle disco hit he had in the early 70’s. This is a flashback look into a time when the group was not the disco chart icons.
