Lots of SIBILANCE on this pressing. The test pressing should have been rejected...did they bother listening to it?

Is it just me or is the sound of this pressing a lot worse than the usual quality from the label?

Siblance/distortion. Just get the original polydor US LP.....OR any European pressing.

Perhaps too much compression during mastering? Actually, this 7" is full of siblance. I picked up the original U.S. Polydor LP issue, and it sounds much better.

There is plenty of siblance on this pressing. The original LP has much better sonics.

I've just checked again and it just doesn't sound good, dirty in the high frequencies like many of the lower quality 7" represses of the last years.Have the original LP and that sound better, maybe a bit less loud but more clear and less aggressive.All the other AotN releases sounded much better to me.
