Vispel
This is an incredibly unique album, and to be honest, absolutely unlike anything I've ever heard. I cannot begin to describe how well-crafted this is. I found a copy at a discount books store, and was just impressed by the album artwork alone. As I picked it up and read the back cover, I was a bit confused, but once I looked in the booklet, I had a pretty good laugh and got the point. I won't spoil it for anybody, as it is a nice surprise and is very clever, witty, and funny, so make sure you have the CD case and booklet when picking this hidden gem up.So this sold me at face-value. What about the music? Well, the intro is very beepy, but after that, it takes off. "This is the Way" is a very dance-oriented track, and sets the tone for the rest of the album, but none more than "I Like That," which sounds closer to a rap beat.Oddly enough, a rap song follows up. I really refuse to spoil the rest. The mid-section is the best part, and most of these songs I played to death on my iPod. This album is just non-stop....for the most part anyways. This album dabbles heavily in to disco, hip-hop, trip-hop, and everything else in between. This is far from your average EDM album. Breakbeat, Techno, and Electro are far more descriptive in some ways, but there is more to it than that. This album is just so funky and cool, yet so varied. This has a consistent tone yet knows how to change things up plenty.Even if you hate EDM, you'll probably love this album. Roughly only 2 tracks don't resonate very well, but the rest is legendary. I may be wrong though. Almost every track here is one of my favorite songs. If you haven't noticed, I highly recommend you seek out this album after you seek out God, then your life will be complete.
