Bad Sunny
I've heard many describe this release claiming influences from the European techno sound of the time ie Belgium, Holland, Germany, perhaps Italy. Others are adamant it's from the Detroit sound. Well yes, definitely. I happen to agree with the latter, but only partially and specifically to one group of individuals in particular. This isn't your Derrick Mays or Juan Atkins, Carl Craigs or your Kevin Saundersons style, although Kevin's output is possibly the closest out of those mentioned. This is UR-esque during their roughest and toughest era starting from 1991. Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Mike Banks. Follow the tech-noise. Obviously it's all unmistakenly Basement in style aswell and we wouldn't have it any other way would we?

The 2nd EP from Techno Bros aka DJ Loftgroover & Jack Smooth is without doubt one of the nastiest EPs on the Basement Label. It truly captures the Raves at a time when the music was moving into a darker harder place. Loft & Ron's love for all things Dark and Techy really come to the fore front when they produced this absolute stormer of an EP. "We are Techno Bros" was the side favoured by the top DJs, but DJ's such as Colin Dale & Colin Faver, Frankie Valentine and many others preferred the darker heavier more progressive tracks 'Dribbling Babies' & 'Sculpture of Sound'. The Detroit influences are unmissable on this EP but mixed with the Break Beats and UK style Riffs creates a pure slab of Basement hardcore.

Dribbling babies is very hypnotic and hard sounding techno...Very early Underground Resistance sounding, top tune.
