it amazing to me how a vinyl release of a song like this only sells for starting price of .54 cents! and yet the cd maxi version goes for or asking prices of 80.00! I don't get it.

yes totally i agree not all vinyl had a CD release and discovering a CD was issued.....and not available to buy it is just as infuriating.

The cd is often a lot harder to find then the vinyl - simple matter of demand and supply. Surely you have seen the prices of the rare mid 90s french cd maxis? Personally I prefer cds - nothing worse than buying vinyl and finding that there was a cd release, at least for me. Happened a lot when I started collecting but now most releases are on discogs so you can make informed decisions for this aspect.
