great ant
An overlooked Mario Robbiani compilation. Granted: the known versions of this release are all housed in the cheapest possible covers, pressed by the known budget labels, not putting any effort in the look and feel of the product, so I understand that many will dismiss this one as worthless. BUT: the true Mario Robbiani collectors, I think, will love at least a few cuts on this compilation, because the tracks A3, A4, A6, A7 and A8 are worth the buy. They have this typically 70s disco-ish movie-theme/TV-series sound that we know from Robbiani and especially track A6, "Cuba Libre" is an absolute killer, also for the dance floors. The rest of the music is nothing more than a selection of Latin dance-school favourites, not bad, but way too cheesy. Just keep the track numbers that I just mentioned in mind. And that version of "Cuba Libre"? Superb!
