Finally, my favourite unreleased album gets an official release! This has to be one of the greatest and most underrated records of our time. This was never released for apparently being too uncommercial, but funnily enough, a similar album (OutKast's SpeakerBox/The Love Below) was a HUGE hit (mostly because of Hey Ya! I think?), which got released on the same label, that this was going to be on (Arista) in 2003. Q-Tip (or Kamaal The Abstract) provides some really soulful vibes and even sings (which he does more of in this record) instead of MCing, and does a great job at it. It is like the best of Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Prince and A Tribe Called Quest rolled into one. Reccomended for anyone, who supports real, genuine Hip-Hop, Soul, and Jazz-Funk.
