Chilldweller
Three comments on one of raps greatest albums and also one of the first fully legit albums by white boys in the rap world, PS I wish the reissue's would have been on double vinyl.
Ť.ħ.ê_Ĉ.õ.о.Ł
low-leveled reissue.
Ffleg
I'm guessing they're referring to the "micro"groove of putting that much music onto one disc. Beasties did the same with Paul's Boutique, but music should generally be limited to 18min per side, 21min tops. You can just turn it up if you keep the disc pristine, but it is more susceptible to surface noise be it dust or rub wear. Not a lot of dynamics on this recording, so it would seem a minor complaint in this case as long as it tracks well (despite my subwoofer). I don't have a copy, so this is only a guess.
Dalallador
I've got this reissue. Sounds fine, heavy vinyl, packaging seems identical to original release, so that might be what the OP means as "low-leveled" (vs deluxe?).
Kifer
what do you mean by low-leveled?
sobolica
Classic Hip-Hop LP from 1989 which has brilliant varied instrumentals and clever, humourous and conscious rhymes a plenty from MC Serch and Pete Nice. The whole album rocks throughout, and sadly albums like this are a rarity in hip-hop. Timeless stuff.
Munigrinn
Well written.I agree with everything you wrote.
