A friend from the west coast recommended a compilation on the Azra/Chlorophyll label that he liked quite bit, and that led to both CDs from SSI, Sonic Solutions Incorporated. My assumption is that SSI is not well known, but I hope that changes. The music "Pax Romana" and "E Pluribus Unum" are stunning, brilliant achievements. The music is like a cross between the best early trance FAX and top tier Tangerine Dream. And that scarcely does the music justice, only provides the reader with apoint of reference. Swirling synths, thumping bass and dramatic melody, it's all here. Miss at your peril as they will be collectable.
