This album is worth buying for the track "Witches" alone! Released as an edited three minute single as well, you will find the full version here: a magnificent nearly-12-minute Eurodisco detour. The vocals may be a bit over the top and the intro ("Broomstick Airlines") a bit too cheesy, but how I love that lengthy break with that saxophone and that five-tone piano sequence (replied by keyboard at times)! I still do not know why this track was not released as a 12 inch maxi single. It might have been a club hit, despite disco being backlashed at that time. The album "Meet The Monsters" is a concept album around black magic and other dark phenomena. The music is more disco-oriented, much different from their earlier, fifties-rockabilly repertoire they achieved fame with in The Netherlands. Pity it was released so late. If this were released early 1979 (three months before the actual release date), it would have had more success.
