Whitesmasher

A fantastic record, so happy this made it out into the wild. A must have for serious fans and in some ways preferable to the first two studio albums. Totally unofficial, blank label, blank sleave, track listing on back but no indication of side a/b. (side a will be the one with 8 tracks) 15 tracks total, most of which comprise their first and second albums but this is all pre-Jerry Harrison. The (eventual) non studio tracks will be known to serious fans but some of the alternate lyrics and alternate arrangements may not appear elsewhere even on the 5.1 DVD releases. Clear and crisp recordings and the band sounds highly inspired and energetic. They werent signed from this and if this is really 1975 then the only explanation is that they were just too far ahead of their time. Fantastic stuff. On par with Bowie's first BBC session.

I have this album (i think) but mine is white jacket instead of black and the album itself is blank... Has the same runout that's listed... could it be a test press or something? can anyone offer any insight?
