Detenta
Don't underestimate this vinyl. I am not talking about my Jack Wax original - because it's a little bit misspressed - Vinyl Cuts really fucked up here with the cutting. The a-side sounds a little bit crackled - but it has his charm too - in the strings :) I made the original in 2009 in Ableton before I start producing acid techno in Logic and with my acidmachines. The Solid Decay remix (Ralph & Dirk) is one of the best techno tracks ever released on Flatlife (my opinion offcourse) and it sounds so good - it has a low volume because it's hasn't got the best mastering, too. But it doesn't matter; It's really pumping and strong techno - it's one of those tracks that takes you on a techno-train - very special... And people... don't get off the train. Still gives me the shivers when I hear this Solid Decay remix. It's a pity the guys split up - otherwise I would have much more selected from their tracks for Flatlife Records. The Second Floor (Mulder) remix is also a long deephouse / techno track and I love it. I played a lot of records back 2 back with Mulder / Second Floor in the South of the Netherlands... so that makes it much more special. If you can find the record; buy it... you wouldn't regret it if you like good deep techno... And don't forget to check which nr you have... The labels on the cover are handly labelled by myself and handly numbered on the labels with black marker.... !
