Also, I think the album is excellent, but personally I think they should have put it out as 2 separate releases. an album with the cello/voice stuff and an e.p. with the dance/upbeat stuff? just my opinion. Although I really like the album, I read somewhere (I'm certain it was Tim Lawrence's excellent biography, Hold On to Your Dreams, which I'd recommend to anyone who likes Russell's music) that Joyce Bowden, who collaborated on some of the tracks, said that the people who'd worked on this material with Russell were disappointed in the release and felt that a few of the versions weren't the definitive ones that should have been on it. Interesting...

It's official. The pressing quality is very good, it sounds excellent, but I also have the lucky cloud/lucky cloud return issue. I actually contacted arc light, and they told me it's an issue which had affected some copies. they posted me out a new copy. which still has exactly the same issue as my original copy...? I wonder if they are all like this..?

This was released on vinyl before. I don't have so cant list but shop worked in in early 90's definitely stocked this on LP. Same cover as the Point Music CD.

Glad to hear that this is getting a vinyl release very soon. Excited!!

Haunting, beautiful, dark, quirky, mysterious. An amazing CD that sadly never came out on vinyl. It's also quite out-of-print too. It was assembled, edited and mixed at Philip Glass' POINT label based on incomplete tracks and works in progress. Not too hard to find, and certainly as good as any of the material that Audika has been re-issuing. It contains an excellent, shorter version of "In The Light Of A Miracle".
