This is the first Mego release which is completely pointless in my ears.Pure are sure technically up to date but the 8 tracks here, mixed together in a nearly one hour long flow build up nothing more than a meaningless sinister ambience.A kind of micro glitch meets some suffering jazz influences crossover attempt but there's nothing exciting about it, nor leaves it any impression after the CD is finished. The tracks need an eternity to develop in smallest regions and the use of voices in "Ivan" or the surprisingly straight drift of "Flew" are sparse highlights which don`t reward the listener for sitting through the other overlong tracks.Pure stay clearly out of their possibilities and present here a perfectionist's work which lost all emotion during it's production process.Reviewed for The Brain in 2002.
