Hands down one of the finest early 80's rub-a-dub albums I've heard in my life. The production by M. Duncan is slow and rumbling. Classic rhythms such as Bobby Babylon and Answer get re-done and have never sounded like this before or after. Mr. Spaulding himself sings with conviction and shows that God is in the dancehall with pieces such as Unseen Eye and 12 Tribes of Israel. While the A-side is more bubbling rub-a-dub the B-side of the album is definitely on a darker mood with some heavy rootsman styled rhythms. Only real draw back of the set is the short playing time. Would have gained from including one or two dubs to some of the songs.
