As the video to the right of this comment shows, the single was previously released in 1958 on Star-Light Records, and it was also issued later on Badger Records in Davis' home town of Ripon, Wisconsin. This page on him from the Rockabilly Hall of Fame website, http://www.rockabillyhall.com/KenDavis1.html , shows that re recorded occasionally into 1967, though I only have the Badger and Mean Mountain issues of the only single listed here.
