i got my copy today, which was purcased during the second order run available on the roses webstore: surprisingly enough, its serial number is in the 3000 range!

From Universal Store Support email:"THIS ITEM WAS INACCURATELY ADVERTISED AS BEING LIMITED TO 5000 UNITS. THE VINYL SINGLE WAS MANUFACTURED TO ACCOMMODATE ALL TERRITORIES AND THE UK ALLOCATION FOR THIS WAS 5000 UNITS BUT A TOTAL OF 6000 UNITS WERE MANUFACTURED GLOBALLY."
Modred
Got the same, asking me if I wanted to cancel my order. Still ain't had it shipped yet though!
Beranyle
Gotta laugh at all the people selling this here and on eBay for £20+ when it's possible to buy it new from the Roses website for £6.99.
ACOS
Got my two copies today, #2740 was the one I opened. Like the All for One 7", it's one sided. That's particularly glaring in a 12" 45 rpm format. What gives? From here it sure looks like they only had two songs worth releasing. Because the Roses always used to treat fans with lots of good b/w's. Anyway, I'm disappointed but oh well. Great song.
Grosho
No b-side?!? Come on lads you can do better...great tune though
Biaemi
Fools gold was the A sideWhat the world is waiting for was the AA side
Mightdragon
Yeahhhh...but it certainly seems lazy compared to the Roses of yore. Hell, they could've put a backwards version of the same song as the B-side. That would've been easy peasy.
SmEsH
VERY much with you on "Something's Burning", "Mersey Paradise", "Standing Here", but not at all with you on "Ride On" and "Moses". Bleah. Those songs are ploddy, uninspired dreck. And "What the World is Waiting For" was an A-side. The original B-side was "Fool's Gold". ;)
Ylal
Totally agree with you, instead they released the dreadfully embarrassing "all for one" as a comeback, also on a 1 sided single. The roses of old wouldn't have even written such Shite never mind recorded it....It stinks of a band who are either;A. In it for the filthy lucreB. Run out of ideas/enthusiasmReally hoping they prove everyone wrong as they have far too much of a legacy to waste.
BlackHaze
As a long time fan, some of their best work were B-sides; Somethings Burning, What the world is waiting for, Mersey Paradise, Standing Here, Ride On, Moses...it would have been nice for the Vinyl heads who have paid the money for a little extra treat
Darkshaper
there's no rule saying that every vinyl should come with both sides pressed :)
Mala
Edited as info no longer relevant....Aside from that, great tune (better than that "all for one" nonsense) and the vinyl sounds much nicer than the mp3 version :)
Pooker
oh really? you gave me great news... i did't had the chance to buy the first run, i'll save lots of money, thanks! :)
