I thought i would give this album a personal review, as if you google it many 'professional' critics rate this album low (Allmusic & Rolling Stone for example). Now i feel that this album is a slight bit better, in my opinion, than Extreme Behaviour. This is most likely because, i feel that the lyric writing and construction is slightly better on this album, although the sound is very much the same to Extreme Behaviour. Also there are more, ballad-like, slower tempo songs on here than Extreme Behaviour - which i like, in comparison to their anthem-eqse, in your face tracks like Use Me. The problem with this album is its a yeah ill have it on my iPod for casual listening album - but its not something that you'd think oh yeah i really want to listen to that album. There is nothing special really about this album, its similar to Extreme Behaviour in the way that, yes, its not original - in any way. And that seems to be the problem with hard rock these days, so many bands sound similar to another - and for me Hinder seem to be Buckcherry wannabes. But still give this album a listen, but its not essential - its just another selection of songs that could all become radio-hits. And i think that this band, and their releases score low because there are about 500 other bands of the same sound out there, with countless bands being 'discovered' and blatantly influenced by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.
