Vital Beast

Boring and incoherent. Allegedly, this is inspired by the 80s EBM, so possibly they went on to buy one of those early awful "cardboard box" sounding digital synthesizers with limited preset sounds and dynamic range? Anyway, there is no depth and power whatsoever to the basslines/ beats (which are somewhat reminiscent of Kevorkian Death Cycle or Vanishing Point), the song stays slow and droning throughout and there are neither catchy choruses nor melodic hooks to lift the tunes, and the only change to the tracks are annoying and seemingly randomly introduced experimental rhythmic patterns (think dance floor-killing Pain Machinery- stuff). I couldn't use any of this as a DJ, and it's certainly not interesting enough to tune into at home.
