It was for the fans probably scare, Jewels single Intuition and the music video. Gone was the familiar folksy singer/songerwriterpop and gone was also the dreamy girl who wrote poems and paardreed prefer. Instead now sounded hip beats and presented Jewel itself with a new sexy image in (a parody of?) a r&b-like video. Jewel is with her latest cd 0304 transitioned to the dance-pop à la Madonna or Christina Aguilara, and that's get used to it. The sound of 0304, produced by Lester a. Mendez (Shakira), sounds trendy and modern, but does have as a result that Jewel has lost part of its identity. The fourteen songs, some written with Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams) and Rick Nowles (Madonna) threaten this at first hearing to go down to superficiality, but are being saved by the refined production and Jewels innocent-girls-voice. 0304 let the listener with ambivalent feelings, because it is not a bad pop CD and Jewel, but it nevertheless remains a very different. The European version of 0304 has a (Todd Terry) remix as a bonus track and the video clip of Intuition.
