Nagis
The "japanese" release is nothing else than the same US CD by The Wild Places with the catalogue number MAR 04922 added only on the OBI by Belle Antique for distribution in Japan.
Lcena
This is the original US edition and it is the only CD edition released. The "EngineRoom Audio", which appears on the Matrix/Runout, is a New York City (U.S.) factory who manufactured the CD for The Wild Places Label. The "japanese" ones are copies of the US CDs with the catalogue number MAR 04922 added only on the OBI by Belle Antique for distribution in Japan.
Swordsong
Brian Godding may be best-known as the guitarist from Blossom Toes (and then the related B.B. Blunder), but he's mostly been a jazz musician, he was with Centipede, and also had his own Canterbury styled fusion outfit Mirage (album on the collectable Contempo label). I first became aware of this album "in progress" when Brian was featured on a TV series documenting 6 experimental guitarists. He'd pretty much taken the old Soft Machine principle of tape delays, with tape fed from one machine to another around a room, and applied it to his guitar, with an effect that's between Fripp and Hillage, mixed with a spacey brand of fusion. The Reckless LP only release from 1988 is now pretty rare, and the only CD release available is a rather pricey Japanese one.
