Yanthyr
Sounds nice but you can hear during run in groove that characteristic "whoooshh" generated by PD vinyl.
Daigrel
Brilliant quality highest end picture discs I've ever seen. Heavy, bold and clear sound from these maestro's off the aggressive. Top marks.
Delaath
Did you have chance to compare this PDs to other black or color editions of this LP? Really no surface noise or other picture discs f...k ups during playing even in quiet parts (I know there are not so much of them on Meshuggah albums but...)?
Gio
Can anyone add a picture of the grey/black splatter vinyl?
Lonesome Orange Kid
I added the only one I could find. should be ok for now until a better one is uploaded. it's the version I want so if I buy it I'll upload a better image
Questanthr
I have this picture disc version which is not only an extension of the stunning appropos cover art but has good sound and no surface noise issues. This is a pleasing advance; picture discs in the last century typically had ridiculously high levels of surface noise. The level is a touch low, but this is better than it being too high which brings distortion and tracking issues; at least with low, if you turn up the volume you've got a sense of dynamics. For me "Born in Dissonance" is what the rest of the tracks wish they were: an invocation of an alien that is Lovecraftian in its cold, mechanoid otherness and indifference to our concerns. Just like the cover, it is chugging towards us with juggernaut unstoppability. What a great track for a scifi horror movie this would be.
Siramath
It's "electric blue." I wonder if they'll ever repress it in "electric red" hehe..
Bukus
it's supposed to be numbered?! can anyone provide a picture?
INvait
Yes it is numbered. It comes with a numbered card inside the box. I just uploaded a picture of my card number from my box set 0495/1000

The black version is a disappointingly quiet pressing. I love this band, continue to marvel at their skills, but yet again find myself less than thrilled with the quality of their vinyl releases.
Tansino
I'm listening to the black version now. I feel it sounds good. I did have to turn it up a notch maybe. However the Fidelity of the pressing sounds good to me.1968 era Nippon amp, Art DJ pre, floor standing full range Pioneer speakers, Technics SL-7 1982 with Shure M97
Shistus
Anyone know how many pressings there were of this specific color?
Goltizuru
It says on this page, 300 copies.Unfortunately one of the two vinyls I missed to buy and now they are three times as expensive
Kagaramar
I have to say that the color comes closer to Turquoise than Green. It really is a beautiful pressing. Brings at the greenish-blue tint in the cover. I'd love to compare this to the plain Electric Blue vinyl and see how much of a difference there is.
TheFresh
I've got this copy as well as the US electric blue and brown splatter. This pressing is beyond beautiful. As for the brown and blue splatter, there's more brown than blue and honestly reminds me of poop smeared on it lol. Haven't played it yet so i can't say how it sounds. I have played the splatter and it sounds great so i'd imagine this sounds just as good if not better. So if you're undecided as to which one to get I'd say this is the one!
Leyl
anybody have any preorder experience from nuclear blast germany to the US?
FireWater
Thanks I appreciate the response! Still waiting for my pre order copy
Bloodfire
I have ordered a lot through the NB Europe and only had 1 problem with an order that I received. It was damaged during shipping. I sent it back and they replaced my damaged vinyls with others without a problem. They ship FedEx to the states usually receive it within a week or so (im on the east coast so maybe a little longer out west) and great customer service.
