Essential stuff in a decent enough package, which, nice as it is, is still over-priced. The booklet's not that interesting, the stencil is a bit silly, the 12" is thin and NEU! 86 is very mediocre. The 'meat' of the box though (the first three albums) is just about as good as music gets. In the late 80s, when these albums were hard to find, I got an original first album in Chelmsford market for £2.95 - what a great day that was.

That was probably my stall! :) Loved every minute of my 16 years every Thursday and Saturday. Agree with your comments about this box set, the first 3LP's are essential, anything else is a bit of let down.

You need it all so get it all. Far more important than any other "Krautrock" group. And some of the others are very important indeed. This is like the collected works of Marcel Duchamp or something. You know.
