Note from the artist: "'Nighttime Eyes' first began as a concept track. The idea was the sound of someone walking through the city at night, complete with steam train sounds and people talking in the background, howling wind and rain. What it developed into is more of a stranger being taken in by the underworld of the night. The confusion of being out of your element and letting go-putting yourself at risk. There's some temptation and carnal nature to what happens after dark."
