Painwind
Deborah Walley was a very attractive sixties' movie actress. Her vocal talents are passable, but this material is very lame, the song's lyrics almost prophetically telling a tale of a woman who is 'tired of hating, tired of name calling...' sounds like a future Facebook meme. Like I said, lame. 'Sometimes in the Darkest Hour' is suspiciously ancient New Age in lyric and strictly square sixties' jazz in music. Deborah just talks this one. Some female vocalists can get away with just 'talking', but this little romp is almost worse than 'So Little Time'. I prefer to remember Ms. Walley's gorgeous looks back in the day.
