Absolutely love this song and had to get this particular version (7" picture vinyl)! Totally worth every penny! It's very unique and beautiful. Not sure how this song could possibly engender any violent thoughts as suggested by a previous comment. (Perhaps this particular feeling is suggestive of some internal issues that are completely unrelated to the music). Years later I still smile whenever I hear this song, and if you don't like the song then why bother going through the trouble of looking it up and ruining the comments section for fans of good music with mental ramblings?

"We Are Young" seems to be a tremendously popular song, and every time I hear it I feel like slitting my own throat, or someone elses. I'm not quite sure WHY this is so popular, I guess my taste in music has not yet reached that, uh...level. I hope it never does. It just makes me want to listen to something that has lots of sharp edges and is dirty and grungy. Sterile pop for...uh, now people? Probably...
