Stu Allen loved this back in day....aaah the sound to the start of the weekend
Weernis
crackin' tune love this 1 awesome breakbeat and vocal samples defo one for your record box

i think CMPNDED contains a sample of the gypsymen (also from 1992) https://www.discogs.com/Gypsymen-Hear-The-Music-Bounce/release/209728 - either that or its sampling the same source of the "hip-hop" vocal sample.. another user below noted that it takes the lead riff from M1 Feel the Drums (1991) https://www.discogs.com/M1-Feel-The-Drums/release/132937
Micelhorav
I'm certain the vocal sample is saying "dixons" from an advert for dixons around the same time
Adorardana
i used to dance my nuts off to this back in the day, bad, bad tune
Akinozuru
Reminds me of Astra gte's parked up at motorway service stations at 4am...

A little mention about FL IT on the B side , easily the best track on this release if you prefer your hardcore a bit more groovy . Can you feel it ........?
Molace
Compnded is a brilliant track - that lead riff is borrowed from M1 - "Feel The Drums"!
HyderCraft
Simply one of the best tracks ever made to this day.
Wel
This (well, the track COMPNDED) is arguably the best rave track in the history of the world. It's energetic, melodic without being cheesy, has amazingly unique sounds, and has never dated. Nothing else sounds like it. Subsequent releases on Edge Records were groundbreaking, but none quite so much as this track. Absolutely essential in any dance DJ's collection, and guaranteed to go down well in just about any type of set. The first synth lick still feels like a giant LSD monster licking me up my spine....
Kigabar
The track Compnded was all what was good about hardcore back in 1992 a rolling breakbeat with wicked vocal samples and trancey deepbass and not forgetting that slamming electronic break, thank god the good people @ edge records re-released this track as it’s a dance floor classic form back in the day that your still hear busting the dance floors across different genres of the dance music scene.
