I'm not sure about other places across the U.S. in the summer of 1987, but in Florida, this was the HOLY GRAIL of Miami Bass songs. In fact, D.J. Kenny-K (88.5 WMNF, Tampa, FL) vowed NOT to play Miami Bass on his radio show because exposure to in the state was so grand. But even HE couldn't refrain from playing this one. Heavy bass and fresh cuts from TMS made this a MUST-HAVE. Sadly, their follow up single was horrible and had negative bass, and they fell of the radar.
