A ridiculously stunning track. Sam Jones has grown and grown and his style is so unique; a magical blend of Tech, Psy and Uplift, he never fails to amaze me with his productions. This is certainly up there with his very best, it's particularly Psy-influenced, with it's relentless bassline and cosmic fx. Full of energy and so recognisable for a number of reasons, it has a lovely build-up and the breakdown is somehow really funky. As always, Sam uses a vast selection of samples and uses a great ethereal vocal loop throughout the track as well as his signature 'main vocal' cut - in this case it's "The Boom!", which gives this track it's unique identifier for the ever-growing Sam Jones back catalogue. This is an artist I highly recommend, if you like a banging tune; look no further.Fantastic original to start 2017, 10/10 again.
