new wave from Boston. Radio Novena put out a 7" single - My Spine b/w Three (Autistic, 1982) - and broke up quick after doing the Rumble in 1983. Their lead singer, Deanna Hosey (who used the pseudonym Desaray), and bassist, Donyne Cowan, put together a new band that year, Alpha Bettys. Bettys had a couple of compilation cuts in 1984. As for Radio Novena's drummer, he was in every Boston band that ever existed.Radio Novena
