The 4'50" track A1 (NOT A3) is in fact 'Larynx Constriction' by Covorc (note the spelling), which can be confirmed by a visit to http://www.myspace.com/covorc. Yes, it features samples from Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock "It Takes Two", but it was never intended as a remix. It was made in my bedroom studio by Covorc (aka Lee Gilbert) sometime between September 1994 and May 1995 using my Yamaha SY-85 (sat right next to me and still in use) and my long dead Atari ST running Cubase and Mastersound.

The highlight on side A is the track by Covork (who is this?!), which features some nice melodies, rhythms and, surprisingly, a female vocalist. The last two tracks are really show stoppers: Metamatics turns in a dancy number a little reminiscent of the songs on ISS:SA. The best is saved for last with a track that must have been written by Bola. This song sounds like a more beat-oriented VM8, or a smoother Shoob, E, and is easily in the same league as either of these Fyuti pieces. The whole album is solid, making this a rare release (as far as compilations go) where there's no urge to skip tracks. Don't let the high asking prices scare you away; this is definitely one of the brightest gems in the Skam catalogue.
