Two fucking clever tracks. The flip impresses with a stubborn bass line, repeated and really deep in the low frequencies, so that it stucks directly in you mind. Female vocal snippets and a beautiful piano line are woven in and out in the right measure. Simple maybe, but executed first class. Sounds wicked at home on a good HiFi and will kill it on the big PA's..The 'hit' side features some special nice female vocals over a standard 'liquid' opening with some distorted horns and fast hi-hats . The stabs come in a big way and the theme gets some fine twists and repetitions till the deep sub bassline comes in with some female h Oh's .. A long introduction till the soulful vocals take over. Vocal drum and bass in fine form, yet if it wasn't for the second half of the track with varied drum and bass programming this could be comsidered a weaker tune...so the other side is my favorite. A nice EP that stood the test of time quite well...

Never knew Eddie Kendricks was female, tune sampled on `Just Memories´samples `Intimate Friends´ by this ex singer of the Temptations
