Dammy

The Scottish rock group Simple Minds had its heyday in the 1980s, after which a long period of artistic and commercial instability came. The collector in 2001 released The Best Of The Simple Minds if Haley in an unexpectedly high interest, a sign that a large number of people have not forgotten the band is. The group around singer Jim Kerr has apparently exhausted, courage because on Cry sounds for the first time in a long time they again inspired. A comparison with the old arch-rival U2 is obvious. Like its Irish contemporaries, Simple Minds in the new millennium back to the typical years-eighty-sound with which they ever became famous. We hear the familiar mix of synths, spatial rock guitars and especially back Kerrs from thousands of recognizable voice in songs like the title track, New Sunshine Morning and strong Disconnected. With Cry has Simple Minds for the first time in a long time an album in hands, with which the worn reputation can be given some shine again.
