DJ Cam is no stranger to remixes, and on REMIXED, tracks from his album SEVEN get the treatment, with Omar Paraiso putting a slower dub house rub to "California Dreaming" while Pharao Black Magic give the same a chunky 80s-style mix with the mix from Drop Out Orchestra going more Afro-Latin. Those fond of Chris James' contributions to SEVEN will be relieved to hear 3 mixes of "Swim," ranging from Blackjoy's Afro-house to the lo-fi folk from Nick Cooke or more abstract downtempo from Conforce. "Uncomfortable," on the other hand, gets four mixes, starting with perky 80s electro from Reflex and more thoughtful, melodic electro from James Curd. But it's FaltyDL who really mixes things up with his subdued breaks and vocal manipulations before Second Date breaks out the warm R&B. Nicolette gets her due as well, as Blockhead gives a spare mix to "Love" while Alex Tassel goes jazzy and funky. A solid set of mixes.
