It’s that time again (so we’re told). Every year around now, The Residents, their friends and families like to gather round the fire and tell tale of the band’s very first release – the ‘Santa Dog’ EP. Some of those friends and family members even got to hear the record, having received a very rare undamaged copy. And now, almost a hundred years later, you can hear it too, along with the huge number of interpretations The Residents have produced in the intervening decades - it’s called ‘Refused’ and it’s as close as The Residents have ever come to a Christmas album. Enjoy…!

In other news, The Residents continue to produce whatever it is they produce and will be issuing at least two new albums in 2018 – there’s the Pledge campaign record, which you can find out all about HERE and something called ‘Intruders’, which we’ve still not heard but are contractually obliged to assure you is excellent.

They’re also touring the USA – you can check out all of the dates and find out just where you need to be, or where you need to avoid depending on your preference, throughout Spring 2018 right HERE.
