This was to be the Norman Petty Trio's 2nd release in 1954. Their debut on Nor-Va-Jak 1313 "Mood Indigo" saw little action initially, and this record was pressed to be their follow up release.When "Mood Indigo" starting becoming popular on radio in the Detroit area, it was noticed by record executives and they were signed to RCA's "X" label and received national distribution.Due to the newfound success of their 1313 debut, this release was cancelled and copies were only given to family and friends.
Only in 2016 with the revival of Norman's "Nor-Va-Jak Music" label were copies of this rare release offered to the public for the first time.
