I have the awesome original 12" & I will surely get the reissue too! Zyx just released Noname & "Fashion' (maxi 1007-12). That was a "N" artist, (Noname) & now they are going next to a "O" artists (Ocean Wings).(maxi 1008-12).

NOPE! The next three ZYX 12" reissues are/ Raggio Di Luna "Comanchero" (out March 23/2018)/ next is Doctors Cat "Feel The Drive" (out April 13/2018 & then is Martinelli with "Cinderalla" (out April 27.2018). None of these are "Too exciting for me". All three are not so rare & priced low here,

This Ocean Wings 12", is a true talo disco masterpiece! I brought (for 6.29 usa dollars!) this record brand new way back in 1986, & I am really glad I did. I got it at New York Citys fabulous Vinyl Mania records, now sadly closed down for many years, but the former owner does sell here on Discogs. This is priced high, but I think it is worth it, I cant see how some other rare 12"s from the 80's are selling for higher prices, like that Joe Car 12". I dont get it, but everybody hears something different, & like thngs more than others, thats is ok, I always respect others taste.in music.

I agree! Vinyl Mania was always worth the trip from Western Mass! I think I got my Ocean Wings there too! I did mail order when I couldn't make the trip. The service was always great! Casey Jones, Manny Lehman, Susan Morobido! Those were the days!

Gary, you are very lucky to buy this at vinyl mania. I miss that place because they had the best selections for italo, early ebm, and new wave imports.

"Loving In The Snow" by Ocean Wings is a great italo disco song from the later years of the genre. This is Ocean Wings only song and quite a good one at that, once again confirming how one-hit wonders sometimes include the best of the best. Here we have some highly accented male vocals and a very nice beat. "Loving In The Snow" is comparable and probably inspired by euro disco and disco fox styled music (Modern Talking, Roger Meno, and Michael Bedford). The only difference is that this one was made in Italy on an Italian label. Which makes sense, because I have long felt that when italo disco began to fade by 1986 and 1987 that euro disco started to gain popularity outside of Italy, yet retained many of the key elements of italo disco. Overall, this a good song on a label that wasn't as well known since it was a late arrival on the scene.
