Nice job yet again from the folks at Be With - very impressive. I owned the original years ago before selling for silly money. Glad I did that now and was able to pick this one up - finally a totally legit and fantastically mastered reissue of this cult cosmic gem.

This is nor "great" nor "amazing" release. This is a TOTAL DISASTER. Nobody can positively comment if they compare the sound of this reprint to the original RCA 1982 issue (THAT'S OUTSTANDING!).Audio on reissue is 99.9% taken from a vinyl, cleaned up with digital processing (FFT NR + declicking), punched a bit (loudness war also on vinyl my sir!) & pressed.Yes, maybe they pay the current licenser (Sony) of the original material, but no proper analog transfer was done at all here (unlike some very good releases from some italo-materials from northern Europe, ex. IDL records).Not only the bassline is completely destroyed (typical fade-in syndrome of the drums machine of noise reduced material), but also the pitch is incorrect (I played side by side the original & the reissue on two 1200s pitch-locked from 2016 GAE series, no joking), so also beat-matching is a mess with this release.You don't believe me? Great reissue. Inner sleeve? Here's a tip: dig through your crates and pull out a record you never wish you had but feel bad about disposing. I know you have many, we all do. Take record out of sleeve. Take sleeve. Use as needed.

Amazing pressing, shame for the missing inner sleeve, I have place the record in a poly-lined sleeve but it hardly fit in the outer sleeve.Five star for the pressing, bewithyou record label, customer service and prompt delivery.

Thanks for the kind words about the pressing, Andrea. We feel it sounds great too. Regarding the inner sleeve situation, we were faithful to the original jacket - this also had no inner sleeve. So it was deliberate.

About time. The unofficial reissue from 2009 was absolute garbage -- sounded like 128 kbps mp3, plus a piece of my copy actually broke off like a pie slice when I was filing it.
