This compilation contains the 14 tracks of the 1992 reissue, plus 12 additional tracks from various, and sometimes unclear, sources. Among them 2 are taken from the original soundtrack issued in 1985 (1-6, 1-10), 2 are personal edits (1-1, 1-12), 5 sound like directly lifted from the movie (with a lot of hum) (1-3, 1-8, 1-11, 2-6, 2-9), 1 sounds like a live recording (2-4), and 2 don't seem to have been taken from the Legend movie (2-13, 2-14).
Most of the additional tracks have an awful sound quality.

The difference between the 1985 and the 1992 version of The Unicorns is essentially in the very beginning of the track (there's also a very slight difference at 4'23", 4'33" and 5'39").Track 1-10 The Riddle (Alternate) is the version originally issued on LP and CD in 1985.Both versions are identical except for 2 omitted notes in the intro and slightly shorter outro in the 1992 re-release.Personal edits:Track 1-1 Legend Suite is various extracts of the original score played back-to-back.Track 1-12 "Living River" - "Bumps & Hollow" consists of extracts from tracks 1-4 My True Love's Eyes - The Cottage, 1-07 Living River - Bumps & Hollow - The Freeze and 2-12 Re-United (this one played in full).TV recordings:Track 1-3 Frying Pan Fight.Track 1-8 Darkness Chant.Track 1-11 Hall Of Columns.Track 2-6 Hall Of Columns (Alternate) is very similar to track 1-11 but is followed by a short cue.Track 2-9 The Dress Waltz (Alternate) is identical to track 2-8 but the ending is mixed with the reverb of a sound FX.All this tracks sound like VHS ripped with a lot of hum.Unclear sources:Track 2-4 Faerie Dance (Alternate) sounds like a reinterpretation made by an assemble and recorded from the audience.Track 2-13 & 2-14 The Kitchen (Part 1) & (Part 2) don't sound like belonging to the Legend movie.

Ariseym

HiTracks 2-13/14 are actually taken from Goldsmith's Psycho II score. Those were temp-tracks which went to the final cut. Sort of Freud's tracks into the A L I E N theatrical release.
