Reissue on Prestige's "budget" label Status. The front cover is identical to the existing Prestige releases and even carries the Prestige name and cat.nr. The Status logo only appears on the back cover and labels, and successively mentions "STATUS 7157" on the back cover and "ST 7157" on the labels.

The deadwax details are partially hand etched (cat.nr.) and partially stamped: the RVG stamp refers to engineer and mastering engineer Rudy Van Gelder. Compared to a genuine 1st, 1959 pressing, these details are 100% identical, the only detail not present on this reissue is the "AB" referring to Abbey Record Manufacturing Co., Inc. That aside, these details point to the fact that the reissue is pressed using original 1959 metal work.

Cover: as is the case with many mono and stereo releases from the late 50s - mid 60s, the artwork used for this mono reissue is simply the artwork of the stereo release, which reads "PRESTIGE STEREO", but of which the stereo part was folded over the top edge of the front cover so it would not be visible on mono releases. A part of the stereo part can still be seen though, upside down, at the top of the back cover. An image of this has been added to the image section of this submission.
