"The Beautiful" was originally part of the 3CD boxset "Taint / Smell & Quim / Con-Dom - Perversion At All Costs" (Red Steam Inc., 1996).

20 overproduced copies were sold separately in a handmade and handnumbered sleeve, which is not the same as inside the boxset, it just features the same pictures. It has no label or catalogue # indications.

Very very good, one of Con-Dom's best albums. It's sad this release is either only available as either a boxset or this very rare stand alone CD. It's a fantastic album, it showcases a much more industrial side of Con-Dom rather than bludgeoning harsh noise. There's a strong sense of direction on this release and works with discordant melodies and harsh electronic loops.I hope this gets reissued sometime in the future.
