This is an expanded version of Greatest Hits, which in turn is a reissue of the 1971 Greatest Hits album on Reprise with a reorganizing of the track sequence.

Although there is a 1986 date on the inserts and disc, that applies only to the LP release. The CD is listed in Schwann as an August 1987 release, and it does not appear in the catalog prior to that date.
