"La teoria dels forats blancs" is the third solo musical venture of Florenci Salesas; full of experimentation, with the meticulousness of a goldsmith, it invites the listener to recognise his own landscapes and spread them out over a wide spectrum of emotions. It shares with his previous album, "Tanoca", the exploration of interlaced and suggestive atmospheres but, unlike Tanoca, it penetrates darker abysses, though without abandoning his usual sense of humour. Two long suites initiate and occupy the greater part of the journey. In "The teorioj de la blancoj truoj", full of surprises, the electronics are mixed with dozens of instruments of all kinds (theremin, balalaika, djembe etc). On the other hand, the entirely electronic "Aigua" produces a hypnotic fluidity and a meditative tension. "Aigua a Mart" is a kind of experimental pop song; a humorously delirious respite, co-created with Cèlia Sànchez-Mústich. Finally, with "Els Monegros des del Cairo", a bonus live recording surrounded by cosmic perceptions, where the rhythm is substituted by a sober brushstroke of mystery, the trip comes to an end.
