Always-in-my-bag's record! Absolute gem, whether you want to introduce a set with Jacques Theme (+1 for Alternate Mix) or for breaking the wave with I Feel Good All Over. Some records are completely overrated just because they're fashionable (sometimes also because they're nice, I admit it)… This one is an underradeted bomb, go for it while it's cheap!
SkroN
that sounds like Robbie Vincent being sampled at the beginning
Aiata
I would certainly agree with that m8.
Barit
I'd say Hotline - Rock This House is definitely one of the first. Released in 1986 on Rhythm King Records.http://www.discogs.com/Hotline-Rock-The-House/master/190589
Celen
Was this the first British house record - if it is its a bloody amazing one to start with.
Uscavel
It wasn't the very first one (that probably goes to Hotline on Rhythm King?), but it's certainly one of the best UK House tracks IMHO. Both 'I Feel Good All Over' and 'Jacques Theme' are excellent.Ooops! I didn't notice I had already commented on this one lol.
WUNDERKIND
Maybe not the first (?), but certainly one of the best UK house releases.
