Contancia

There have been numerous excellent attempts to create Burroughsian soundscapes, by, with and without him. Very few come close to this "harmolodic" score. Maybe it is even the peak in Ornette Coleman's recording life.

Still In Mind

I'd personally throw his 1959 efforts into the mix in terms of the last point mentioned. Then again, who'd like to peak on his first effort if you go on to record for decades
