Maveri
These are the first known recordings by Buckethead. He recorded them using a small, portable multi-track recorder in 1988. His engineer was John Edmonds. The sound quality has been professionally restored by audio engineer Ken Hood. As for the music, it's just incredible to hear how imaginitive and broad his musical talents were when Buckethead was still so young. He covers a wide range of styles in this album including; metal, rock, acoustic, country, spanish, shred and funk. It includes some tracks which went on to be classics such as Hog Bitch Stomp and Scraps as well as many enjoyable, never-heard-before tunes. I'd say my favourite tacks are Disembodied part 2 and Return of Agustus Gloop as they contain very catchy, melodic riffs as well as ear blistering solos. Personally, I'd say this is a must for any Big B fan! The sound quality is absolutely fine and does not affect the listening at all. If you're new to Buckethead I wouldn't recommend this as a starting point. Thanks to Jas Obrecht for producing this for us!
