This is one of the first ten CD's released by Nippon Columbia in Oktober 1982.This release has the all black spines of the case, it begins with only C37 and has only Japanese text in it. The later releases had a white space on the spine where the catalog number is placed, they begin with 33C37 and have english text in the booklet. It also came in the japanese first jewelcase, sometimes refered as Smoothcase. The sides are not ribbed like the Philips design was, and on the backside are the words "Patent pending" readable.
Arryar
One of the first 10 CDs issued by Nippon Columbia on 01/Oct/1982. There were 60 CDs issued on that day, but only Billy Joel's 52nd street was recognized as the first CD in history.
