Jazu
I have only first disc of this pressing, anyone have the second only?
Morlunn
I have the original press where the side A/B are labelled pink A and light green B but are in fact side C/D B0004372-01 LP02-A/B0004372-01 LP02-B. So basically two side C/Ds. I think this is a mistake at the factory. I'm actually curious if anyone else has this experienced this and if this is valuable as such
Still In Mind
Hi, I have 2 of record 2 (side c and side d). Would love to swap for one of you record 1. What do you think? Joe
Kezan
I'd be happy to trade if your side A/B (disk one) is in excellent+ condition
Ferne
I also have two side C/Ds so unfortunately I can't help you
Kegal
Hi,I have 2 of record 2 (side c and side d). Would love to swap for one of you record 1.What do you think?Joe
Delan
hey I kind of have the same problem. I have 2 record 1s, but they are labeled as if it was record 1 and 2. Maybe we can do a trade
Malhala
Also landed an original press. Sealed and mint. Sounds phenomenal on my Rega RP6. A real keeper this one.
BoberMod
I've just landed an original press today. Cannot wait to get a needle on it!!!
Narim
Which is better this or the MFSL?
Lailace
The MFSL by a mile...it was mastered fully analog from separate individual reels at half speed and wipes the floor with this version.
Runehammer
I have the original. and both MFSL (black and pink). on my LP12 (ittok, dynavector 20x2L, lingo 2) the MFSL sounds far superior to the original. the original sounds good yes, but when you then listen to the mfsl and go back to the original you realise how thin the original sounds in comparison. the mfsl press sounds richer, fuller and has a wider soundstage. for instance when the electric guitar hits in on Golden age you hear it on the original, with the MFSL you feel it - you can place it in the soundstage, it suddenly has a tangibility to it, like you can feel the musicians presence, you hear the hands on the guitar. the thing is motif presses demand a well set up and balanced TT. if your cartridge is even slightly unaligned you are not doing the vinyl justice. anyone who prefers the original has either not got their deck set up to cope with the motif press or prefers a thinner less expansive sound.
Pedar
what is the weight of the original pressing? 180g?
ChallengeMine
The remaster is more polished, but this original master has some really perfect saturation and natural overdrive/compression. I prefer the original pressing, but both are pretty near perfect.
Qudanilyr
Opinion is mixed. Most prefer MFSL. I've only heard the original, which is fantastic.
