Nirad
I love this record. There was a lot of pressure for LFO to come up with something to rival LFO. How could they? It's like Orbital coming up with another Chime! It wasn't going to happen but what did pleased me. At that time techno had gone through the 'bleep' stage and this (as well as Sweet Exorcist's 'Clonk') signaled the (Oh I can't think of another word for it!) CLONK phase. And off it clonks: #We are the true creators; We're Back! We'll never know whether it was Sweet Exorcist or LFO who came up with the 'clonk' sound (I would say Sweet Exorcist but I'm always open to opinion) but I love this example of it. And just to add "New Age" is one of the most powerful tracks I've ever heard! It is monoliphic! Kaicho
